Bio

Ally is a fitness and martial arts enthusiast who believes that hard work is truly the key to success. Over the past 20 years she has achieved her 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has attained the rank of Sije, or older Kung Fu sister, in Northern Dragon style Kung Fu. In addition to her achievements in the martial arts, Ally has also competed at an elite level as a soccer goalkeeper at the high school, club, and college levels. She won several championships for the Montgomery Girls High School Soccer program during her four year varsity career. The experience she gained from the Players Development Academy (PDA) she was able to go on to play Division I soccer at both the University of Connecticut and, later, Monmouth University.

Fitness has been part of Cassie's life since she was very young, she was always very involved in many different sports and martial arts. It wasn't until her senior year of high school that she realized she could help others with their fitness goals as well as her own and she became very passionate about it. She went to Towson University for a semester and spent more time in the gym working out and exploring fitness. She would even join the ROTC kids on early morning runs and track work outs for fun! She decided to leave Towson and go to RVCC for exercise science. She enjoys learning new things involving fitness and believe that fitness can be fun as well as effective, you just need to find a workout that is right for you because we are all different physically and mentally. Her goal is to help people find a way to enjoy exercise and motivate them towards their fitness goals.

Jennifer left the corporate world to raise her three, now adult, children as her family was moving throughout the US.   When her kids became more independent, she decided it was time to take back her fitness!  She started off with walking…then running…then classes at Iron Core Bootcamp. With the encouragement of the Iron Core Instructors and through participation in the P.T.S. Big Slim Down, she experienced a fitness transformation. With a drive to pay it forward, she became a volunteer coach for Montgomery Recreation Couch to 5K and Girls on the Run programs.  Empowering others to run was so rewarding that she decided to become a Personal Trainer.  Now it is her mission to help her clients regain, maintain and discover the next level of their fitness!

Bio

Kim lives in Yardley, PA with her son Dalton who is in the Army National Guard. Kim knows that fitness keeps the mind and body strong and brings about that feel-good glow! Training in a gym became part of her lifestyle during her high school days in the midwest where she became involved with sports such as softball, track and volley ball. Years later, after working for Princeton University and helping with a family-run Electrical Construction Company, Kim decided to do what she really loves to do! In 2012, she became a personal trainer and she says that, "Life is good, because she gets to inspire, motivate and coach others achieve their own personal fitness goals." She takes pride in empowering others to make exercise an everyday, feel-good thing!

When Kyle isn't at P.T.S., he's right downstairs training away with the U.S. rowing team! Kyle has been involved with strength training and rowing since 2007. Kyle enjoys working with a variety of clients from middle school students to the high school rowing team he coaches and straight on up to his clients in their golden years. Regardless of skill level, Kyle sees each new client as a unique project and prides himself on finding a way towards their goals! He believes in hard work, but brings a smile to every workout.

Bio

Michelle has spent most of her life working with people, helping them to be the best they can be.  “You are stronger than you think” is a core belief of Michelle’s – both for herself and her clients.  An active, year-round athlete growing up, Michelle has taught skiing and swimming at numerous times in her life.  Following college Michelle became a dental hygienist in order to both educate and help people.  Building on this background she earned a Masters degree in educational psychology to understand how people learn not just in an educational setting but also how they develop and make behaviour changes.  While living overseas for 7 years in Luxembourg, Michelle found her true calling in Pilates.  There she became interested not only in her own practice of these timeless methods, but also found joy in teaching Pilates while continuing to learn about how the body moves and works.  She has studied with Polestar Pilates in the UK, Germany and US and with Eric Franklin – a pioneer in the biomechanics of movement and the use of imagery to create better movement. Michelle has a strong passion to help and support people as they target their personal goals, whether it’s to lose weight, become physically stronger and healthier or set that new personal best – even if that means just finishing that race!

Ryan played varsity soccer for Hillsborough High School. Ryan then attended Full Sail University where he studied show production and the entertainment business in Orlando Florida. Years after being off the soccer field he devoted his time to Mixed Martial Arts and became competitive in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission wrestling tournaments. He now holds a purple belt under world champion Emily Kwok. Ryan continues to train not only to become stronger but to influence others that anything is possible.

Mary Ellen has been running for over 20 years. She has completed several marathons (New York, London, Philadelphia and Boston) and is a top local masters runner. She enjoys cooking, strength training, reading and spending time with her kids. Prior to PTS Mary Ellen was employed by Merrill Lynch serving as Vice President and compliance counsel and was admitted to the New York State Bar.

Jenna was first drawn to yoga for the physical benefits in 2013. She quickly realized that it was going to have a much larger impact on her life. Through her practice she gained confidence, patience, gratitude, and self-love. Jenna embraced the practice entirely by continuing it off the mat; allowing her to be open minded, to learn from others, and to always be evolving. She loves the feeling of community that yoga brings, and has made it her mission to help others find their authentic self. Jenna decided to take her practice to the next level, and began her 300 hour training in 2016 with Wendy Pinto. Jenna’s classes are vinyasa based, fun, and always has a great playlist. She encourages her students to go at their own pace; reminding them that growth and transformation takes time. Her goal is to have students leave her class feeling empowered and ready to take on challenges both on and off the mat.

Monica has strong roots in various types of dance performance, particularly ballet. In 2007, while studying at Colorado State University, these roots took ground in yoga when she attended a power yoga class on campus and instantly fell in love. Monica quickly developed a passion for yoga and its many great qualities. Practice with breath-work and movement has made a huge impact in all aspects of her everyday life. Stressful situations soon became manageable, and thinking became much clearer. From her positive experiences with yoga, Monica knew she wanted to make it a bigger part of her life. She decided to complete her 200 hour certification for yoga and do additional training in yoga, which she continues today. Her love and passion for yoga has grown over the years as and she hopes to share the gift of yoga with everyone. Monica wants to create a great experience for all of her students and strives to be the best teacher she can be.
